Muir Inline Vertical Capstans provide efficient, reliable performance in a flexible and lightweight package. The Capstans are built with a single piece integrated gearbox/motor assembly which provides increased power and speed not normally seen in conventional setups. These capstans are able to be mounted horizontally as well as vertically, making it a versatile unit suitable for many commercial and recreational activities. Each Capstan is made from chrome plated bronze and features a knurled finish to increase grip.
Shaft and mounting bolts are marine quality stainless steel, and all Muir Capstans are designed and built in Australia.
